Assessment Types: Tiers

Sensor:The Sensor is often used to 'test the water' or 'signal' that leadership are interested in understanding and improving Capability Maturity, and perhaps initiate a process or program of Organisation Capability Building. Sensor Assessment report provides general organisation action guidance for the measured Maturity Level.

Triage: A Triage level assessment has many use cases, common among many use cases is the desire to understand the Current Capabilities and their Maturities, this can be at an Organisation, Group, Team or Role level. It is often referred to in other models as 'Executive' Assessment. The Capability Maturity Assessment Report provides specific guidance for each assessed 'Dynamic' based on its measured maturity level. OrgCMF™ Triage Level Maturity Assessment helps individuals and teams to select priorities for improvement, initiate any immediate or quick fix changes required and where appropriate.

Diagnostic: A Diagnostic level assessment also has many use cases, it allows for deeper understanding of each core 'Dynamic' (15) Maturity Levels by drilling down to its 'Constructs' (Capability Building Blocks). The Maturity Assessment Report provides specific guidance for each assessed Construct based on its measured maturity level. OrgCMF™ 'Diagnostic' Level Capability Maturity Assessment helps individuals and teams to identify the right specific actions to take to improve the target Maturty Level. At Diagnostic/'Construct' level of the Model and Assessment there is potential value for every employee role.

Deep Diagnostic: Based on the core Dynamic Systems Maturity Theory (DSMT) 15 level Maturity Scale, and using the Primary DSMT Body of Knowledge and Research Assessment Platform, it is only used in more complex and exceptional Root Cause Analysis and related improvement. Selecting or Configuring an OrgCMF™ Capability Maturity Assessment

The driver for any OrgCMF™ Maturity Assessment is an 'Information Need' whether its a once-off need or and ongoing need which is part of an improvement program, or need for deeper analysis. The Business Drivers and Priorities guide in the selection and configuration of Maturity Assessments.

The target domains for Assessment can be any mix of 'Dynamics or Constructs' based on their Titles, or configured to address specific Business or Operational Goals (See guidance table below) for improvement.
