The Organisation Development Tools Institute (ODTI), Researches, Develops and Provides tools that help organisations plan and execute Incremental, Transitional and Transformational Change, based on Organisation Science and Dynamic Systems Maturity Theory (DSMT). DSMT identifies the distinct learning levels (Maturity levels) that describe any organisations functioning level (Performance and ability to change), and provides a roadmap to improve Performance & Agility to higher maturity levels
It is widely acknowledged in Industry & Academia that 70% of change programs fail to deliver expected value using existing change models and tools. Research evidence indicates that though many of these organisations followed recommended best practice change processes, that the specific change actions and interventions required a higher level of existing Organisation Maturity to gain traction and have a sustainable impact.
In todays modern dynamic, technologically centric environment, organisations must be able to anticipate, adapt and even stimulate change to survive and be successful, but often find themselves constrained by existing strategies, culture and practices. As a result they are seeking more advanced tools and techniques to improve their change capability, as they also drive to improve the success rates and impact of their change programs.
Body of Knowledge: The Organisation Capability Maturity Framework™ ( OrgCMF™) is a Change Capability Maturity Framework, consisting of a Body of Knowledge which describes each Maturity Level for each key organisation Dynamic and underpinning Constructs. It also provides a roadmap to guide change actions and improve change capability.
Organisation Maturity Assessment: The starting point for any organisation change program ,is an appropriate organisation assessments, which provides a true measurement of their current capabilities, and appropriate guidance on actions to be taken to achieve both their target change goals and improved capability maturity. (Organisation Maturity Index-OMI).
Approach: The ODTI Digital Platform provides access to the full OMI body of knowledge, and Assessment Portfolio. A self-service model for all standard Assessments is planned, and where required ODTI can configure an assessment to meet specific customer change program goals.

The knowledge and tools are open and free to anyone and are intended to be Accessible, Usable, and Useful in helping improve organisation performance, and support successful change and transformation in organisations. The research and tool development are informed by the ODTI’s global network of Academic and Industry experts.
The ODTI is a Private Limited Company funded by its founders Dr. Myles Sweeney & Mr Declan Kavanagh both with extensive business experience of leading change, transformation and performance improvement, in both the public and private sector. It is intended in time that certain products and services will be charged for in order to accelerate and sustain the research and make the majority of them both open and free.
Dynamic Systems Maturity Theory (DSMT ) is the primary Organisation Science research Body of Knowledge (BoK) that underpins our Offerings. Dr. Sweeney led the research into DSMT over the last decade.
ODTI has a central focus on developing the rich core Body of Knowledge, and enabling its use through practical Digital Tools. It has a developing traditional and Digital Ecosystem of End User Individuals & Organisations, coupled with Value Add Comunities and Partners who build market and customer specific solutions which leverage the BoK and Tools. Digital partners can access the BoK via a standard API.
This is the core reference model to address all 15 Organisation Dynamics (or selected dynamics as appropriate to the business or operational issue being addressed) that are central to the organisations operation and performance.
