The ability to anticipate, identify and accept the need for transformation, change and improvement within an organization or team, is often not considered, obvious, attractive and/or openly discussed and accepted. There may be a false sense of security in the ability of key stakeholders as to the level of capability and agility that may or may not exist.
People are too busy, overconfident with current plans and performance, and perhaps comfortable with the status-quo and as a result have not recognized key factors relating to the business have changed, and/or Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and/or Ambiguity exists, in some or many aspects of the internal or external environment which could have a significant or even profound impact on the organization, customers, stakeholders and/or team, its performance, satisfaction, or even existence.
The UDT Model and Body of Knowledge (BoK) provides the roadmap, techniques and information for someone to "call to attention" that, there is a potential Catalyst for Change Challenge that needs to be seriously and properly considered, by a critical network (CN) of key stakeholders in the business, and to initiate an open discussion and subsequent dialog which confirms any need for Change, the Scale of that Change and the consequences of not addressing that need. Leading to a commitment by a critical network (CN) of key influencers to make the appropriate and defined Change, Transformation & Improvement.
The purpose of this workshop is to engage participants in the process of becoming the leader or part of the Catalyst for Change, in their organization or team. It presents how change and change management have evolved and what we have learned. It considers the current VUCA environment and challenges faced by all organizations and teams, and it looks at why change fails, how organizations and teams learn and devlop based on the research, that led to UDT and, it explains the breakthrough insights that UDT provides about Change and building Change Capability (Agility). Finally it provides the participants with the tools and roadmaps to contribute to initiation of, and participation in change in their organizations and teams.
It is facilitated by experienced tutors who have been involved in leading and participating in both incremental and transformational change and who have contributed to academia and knowledge development.
It provides participants with an understanding of Change Management "Best Practice" and how Organization Development has evolved, introducing Next Generation Change Management and Change Capability required for today's evolving VUCA environment.
Through Action Learning participants gain the skills to understand and use the latest knowledge and tools and to be a Catalyst, plan and execute successful change actions which are calibrated to their business or team context/situation
It looks at the "Root Cause" of Change Failure and how that has informed the development and application of Next Generation UDT Theory and Models.
Its is cost and time efficient, with options for participation in the workshop minimizing disruption to participants day to day duties.
It is a basis for Certification by the Institute.
